Sixty members of the community shuras, who are involved in the traditional justice system, took part in a 12 day training program and received necessary information on Islamic law, human rights, gender based violence and violence against women.
The participants, which included men and women, represented Herat city Shuras and Ghorian, Zanda Jan, Injil, Gozara and Karokh districts.
To develop the justice sector, and to generalize and promote human rights, CRDSA started its efforts five years ago and have continued through the “Promote Access to Justice Project” till now.
