According to the presidential decree of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the responsibility of Herat JRC transferred from Justice Department to the Office of Prisons Administrations during a meeting on June 28, 2020.
The office has recently established based on a presidential decree and currently there are 46 juveniles including males and females in the center.
