A two-day discourse conducted on Juveniles’ Criminal Rights in the Afghanistan Penal Code by CRDSA through the project funded by INL in the Sadaf Hotel in Herat province.
The discourse conducted with presence of 51 participants from different judiciary departments of Herat province and NGOs working in the field of juveniles’ right. The discourse started at 08:30am and ended at 03:00pm every day and participants discussed on misunderstanding of the penal code, performance challenges of judiciary system and how to create a comprehensive view in order to apply the law equally.
The results of the discourse will be shared with the relevant governmental departments at the local and natio
nal levels and CRDSA is committed to follow up the results through advocacy process.
