On October 10, 2016 CRDSA conducted the first Regional Coordination Meeting at CRDSA Main office. The participants, Dr.Jami ,director of CRDSA, Mr.Hassan Hakimi, director of AYNDSO, Mr.Mahdi Rasekh from SOACS, Mr.Hashim Ferhan from VARA, Ms.Rona Biazar from RAADA, Mr. Habib Alekozay, Mr.Sohrab Faizy and Mr.Enayatullah Karimi from CRDSA discussed the issue ' Enhancing Sub-national CSO's Citizen and National Engagement' and shared common challenges, achievements and opportunities for a regional advocacy platform.
The participants discussed various challenges, Lack of transportation for volunteers advocates coming from long distances, lack of coordination between CSOs, less interest to advocacy topics, sensitivity of men and women for joint participation to advocacy sessions , they face during advocacy sessions , Enlightened the achievements, strong cooperation between different ethnic groups regarding civil rights, establishing close relations of citizen with local CSOs for further advocacy and stressed on the opportunities, donors community support CSOs that could help them led further and better advocacy.
The PCPs appreciated, CRSDA initiative regarding regional advocacy platform as it has been one of the essential needs for the whole PCPs
