Regional Ulema and Women dialogue

A one-day Regional Ulema and Women dialogue was conducted in Herat by CRDSA on December 27 attended by 83 people (24 women and 59 men) from government, CSOs, women activist, Ulema and Media. Participants discussed on women challenges, increasing women participation in civic engagement process, women rights from view point of Islam and how to reduce the violence against women.
As a result, the solutions presented by the participants accumulated in a pledged letter with 15 articles and committed through signing of the letter by all participants.
